You don’t build a car by stacking parts until the catalog runs out. You build it by understanding what each part is supposed to do, what has to be changed to make it fit, and what else gets affected once you start cutting, welding, wiring, or bolting things together.
Building a car is real fabrication work, not shiny project talk dressed up to sound finished. Engines, brakes, wiring, brackets, clearances, fuel systems, cooling, driveline parts, and body structure all affect each other. Ignore that, and every “simple upgrade” becomes another chance to build the next problem.
The more you understand how the pieces fit, load, move, ground, seal, cool, and clear each other, the fewer parts you’ll ruin and the fewer jobs you’ll do twice.
Reality Check: Cars aren’t kit toys. They’re systems made out of metal, wiring, pressure, heat, and load. Change one thing, and you changed something else whether you meant to or not.
Engine Building & Performance
